Had a bit of a strange day yesterday, where I was going through it mentally, but also spent the whole day socializing with people I love. My social battery was blinking red by the time I got home, so I figured that I would put on something that was fun and nostalgic and when I got to High Fidelity in my Raspberry Pi library, it felt like the only choice. Becks didn't really pay attention and I loved reading through the Letterboxd reviews of people who hate the movie. It had been about five years since I'd last seen it and it still felt like a cold glass of water on a hot day. There's like five lines in every scene that make me laugh and watching it is sort of a way for to exorcise the worst parts of my personality from fifteen years ago. One of my all-time faces and, in hindsight, probably the perfect thing to watch when I am sulking in depression even as I'm surrounded by people who are happy to see me.
Figured that I would come back with and an IMU classic and throw some Top 5s at you in honour of the rewatch.
